CHEEMIA LTD (“we”, ”our”, “us”, “Cheemia”) respect the privacy of our members and ReSET training package and document users (“you”) and we recognise the need for appropriate protections and management of your personal information.
When we, and our service providers, collect and use your personal information, we are the data controller for the purpose of Data Protection Legislation (defined below).
PURPOSE
We have prepared this Privacy Notice to assist you in understanding what information we collect about you and how that information is used by us and by third parties.
KEY TERMS
When we refer to Data Protection Legislation we mean the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation(EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”); and any legislation implemented by the UK to give effect to the derogations permitted under the GDPR.
Personal information is information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual, such as a name, company, telephone number, email address, etc., and also online identifiers and location data such as IP addresses and mobile device IDs.
A data controller is someone who decides why personal data is to be collected and how it will be used and treated.

DO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We contract with third party service providers and suppliers to deliver certain services. Our service providers change from time to time and we will inform you if this is the case by updating this privacy notice.
The following third parties may have access to your personal information, for the purposes noted below:
the party that provides us with an online platform solution, who is currently Kajabi LLC, processing data in the US;
the party that provides us with our online payment solution, who is currently Stripe Inc., processing data in the US;
the party that provides us with our member sign up solution, who is currently Etison, LLC., the owner and operator of the ClickFunnels platform, processing data in the US;
our email mailing list provider, currently ActiveCampaign, LLC, processing data in the US;
our feedback questionnaire software provider, currently, Cognito Forms LLC., processing data in the US;
our appointment and calendar provider, currently, Calendly LLC., processing data in the US;
Zapier Inc., our software and app automation tool, processing data in the US;
Microsoft, who hosts our email and file storage and transfer software, processing data in the UK or the US;
any other person who is authorised to act on your behalf;
your employer if they have purchased the licence for the training package;
regulators, government departments, law enforcement authorities, tax authorities and insurance companies;
any relevant dispute resolution body or the courts; and
persons in connection with any sale, merger, acquisition, disposal, reorganisation or similar change in our business.
Except as provided above or if we change our service provider, we will not share personal information with any other third parties without informing you beforehand, unless required by, or in connection with, law and / or regulatory requirements.
We will not sell, trade or lease your personal information to others.
EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA
The data that we collect from you will usually be stored inside the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA).
However, if you live or work outside of the UK or the EEA, we may need to transfer your personal data outside of the UK or the EEA to correspond with you. Where this applies, we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy notice.
We also may transfer data outside the UK or the EEA where our, service providers host, process, or store data outside the UK or the EEA. Where we do this, we will ensure that the transfer is to a country covered by a decision of the European Commission or is otherwise made in circumstances where we have put appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with the Data Protection Law (e.g. standard contractual clauses, etc.).
RETENTION PERIODS
We will not hold your personal information for any longer than is necessary for the uses outlined above, unless we are required to keep your personal data longer to comply with the law and any regulatory requirements.
We apply the following retention periods:
your contact details will be retained for 6 years for contractual purposes. Basic details (name, address, telephone numbers, email address) may be retained for a minimum of 6 years after termination of the Licence Agreement to use Cheemia ReSET;
other basic information about you, including contact, identity, financial and transaction data will be retained for six years after you cease being customers for tax purposes and compliance with the relevant legislation;
your contact details in relation to our mailing list for any related products to Cheemia ReSET will be stored until such time as you unsubscribe.
In some circumstances, we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have certain rights under the Data Protection Legislation which can be exercised by contacting us at: info@cheemia.co.uk, including:
the right to access the personal data held about the you by making a subject access request in accordance with
the Data Protection Legislation. We may charge a reasonable fee when a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive;
the right to have your personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
the right to request to have your personal data deleted in certain specific circumstances as set out in the Data Protection Legislation;
the right to request to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain specific circumstances as set out in the Data Protection Legislation;
the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes or for purposes based on our legitimate interests;
the right to ask us to not undergo automated decision making; and
where you have provided consent, to request to withdraw such consent at any time.
Please note that if you choose to exercise your rights to have personal data restricted or deleted, then we may not be able to offer you our services, including the training package “Cheemia ReSET”.

Like many other website operators we use ‘cookies’ and other tracking technologies such as ‘pixels’ and ‘beacons’ on our website to improve the customer experience, deliver content tailored to your interests and serve relevant online targeted advertising, as well as learn more about how you interact with the site.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
In common with many other websites when you visit www.cheemia.co.uk we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this not to identify you personally but to analyse your use of our website in order to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you and to understand the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising activities.
By visiting our website we may have access to your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your service use.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH
In common with many businesses, we may share your personal data with a number of third party companies and service providers, in order to help us administer our business effectively.
External third parties include:
Providers (acting as processors), based in the US who provide IT and system administration services, Professional advisers (acting as processors or joint controllers) including lawyers, bankers and insurers based in the UK who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services, HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities acting as processors or joint controllers based in the United Kingdom and who require the reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.Examples of the 3rd party software processors we use include:
Skype for Business for Webinar and online meetings, Microsoft Exchange for File storage and transfer, Sharepoint for Cloud storage and collaboration FreeAgent - a Cloud-based accounting software, Zoom - a Webinar and online meeting software, Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy notice.
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
